HEALTHY HOME INSPECTIONS ($199 EXCL WITH FULL REPORT)

WHAT ARE THE HEALTHY HOMES STANDARDS?

The Healthy Homes Standards were announced in February 2019 by the Government. These standards included specific and minimum standards for heatinginsulationventilationmoisture and drainage, and draught stopping in rental properties and are now part of the Residential Tenancies (Healthy Homes Standards) Regulations 2019.

The Healthy Homes Standards became law on 1 July 2019 and all rental homes must comply with the healthy homes standards by 1 July 2024.

HOW TO GET AN INSPECTION AND COMPLIANCE

Our Healthy Homes Inspector will check the five key compliance requirements for Healthy Homes Standards (insulation, ventilation, heating, draught stopping, and moisture control) and provide you with a full audit report.  If the property does not comply, the Healthy Homes Inspector will advise you on the most cost-effective solution to bring it up to code.

Once this is done Exact Building Inspections provide you with a compliance certificate.
